Construction Field Accountant, Heidelberg, MS

-Organization: Tactical– Atlantic Gulf, Onshore Construction

-Summary: The field accountant role is being requested to support our Area Analyst in the Heidelberg, MS, area. They will be working on our 2018 Spread 8A project, alongside the chief Inspector and his inspection team.

-The tenative start date is 01/02/2018, and would tentatively last until the end of July, or longer depending on performance.

-Responsibilities:

  • Set up construction office, utilites, communications, equipment and mail and delivery services.
  • Prepare and send out progress billing invoices as needed.
  • Assist is PeopleLink time entry coordinator duties.
  • Create and generate Requests For Services for projects as needed.
  • Review and assist in completing project accruals for the project.
  • Conduct, review and perform material reconciliation.
  • Keep, maintain and audit project job books to ensure company is in compliance per DOT 192.
  • Review construction contractor bills and reconciliation against purchase orders and progress billing.
  • Track daily contractor costs for T&M, unit cost, and lump sum contracts.
  • Track daily and report all change orders.
  • Complete project closeouts and job boxes.
  • Initial training will be provided, to understand Williams policies and procedures.

-Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Pipeline/Station construction process.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel is a must.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to allocate time efficiently, handle multiple demands and complete priorities.
  • Oracle-RFS, contracting & Purchasing reports.
  • Computer literate, ability to understand SharePoint.
  • Field Experience is a must.

-Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Preferred of 5 years of experience
  • Powerplant
  • Industry experience; solid understanding of the energey industry
  • Understanding of accounting practices
  • DOT 192 experience

-MISC:

  • Travel required: 80%
